Desert Jet offers the only jet charter aircraft based at both the Jacqueline Cochran Regional Airport in Thermal and the Bermuda Dunes Airport. Desert Jet is the “preferred jet provider” at Bermuda Dunes Airport, an honor never before granted to any other charter company. We are also the preferred aircraft charter company for several of the private golf and country clubs in the desert resorts region as well as the Bob Hope Classic, the desert’s most iconic and charitable golf tournament.

Desert Jet’s pilots are the most experienced pilots in the industry, with more than 6000 hours of flight experience and several thousands of hours in aircraft type. Every pilot is an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP)-rated Captain with significant flight experience in corporate aircraft. Compare this to the hiring minimums for most fractional and charter operators – a mere 2500 hours.
Desert Jet has three NBAA (National Business Aviation Association) Certified Aviation Managers on staff – the only air charter company in the world to lay claim to this achievement, and the only aircraft charter and management company that permits only CAMs to manage clients’ multi-million dollar assets. Desert Jet’s charter experts also hold FAA airmen certification, ensuring that every charter booked is a safe one. Desert Jet is one of only a few charter companies globally that are IS-BAO registered. The IS-BAO is a global aviation “best practices” standard that no air charter brokers meet, and only a few aircraft charter companies have achieved.
In addition to offering superior aviation-related services to our clients, we are especially proud and honored to be able to give back to our community. Desert Jet donates a majority of annual profits to worthy causes that can be assisted with our aircraft.
We have used our aircraft to transport abused dogs rescued from puppy mills, to fly children to Camp Laurel, a summer camp for children living with HIV and AIDS and have donated our aircraft for use in fundraising auctions benefiting the Boys and Girls Club and other local charities. Desert Jet also sponsors an aviation scholarship presented by Women in Aviation and is a repeat participant in Cessna’s Special Olympics Airlift.
